Western Bay Wildlife Trust Information Evening
When: Tuesday 9th March, 7 - 9pm
Where: Mount Surf Club
You are invited to an information session to learn about Western Bay Wildlife’s
work monitoring taonga species, Kororā (little blue penguin) and ōi (grey-faced
petrel) populations at Mauao (Mount Maunganui) and Moturiki (Leisure Island). You can learn how you can be involved with helping to protect wildlife at the Mount or in your area.

Under Water & Land Clean up Festival
When: Sunday 21st March, 12 - 2 pm
Where: Pilot Bay boat ramp
We are teaming with EnviroHubs' Sustainable Backyard programme with this event. Come join us for a day on the water’s edge and underwater to thoroughly clean up our harbour, enjoy music, entertainment, educational stalls, games for the kids and help clean up the waste blowing into the ocean from our city.
Divers must pre-register at www.divezone.co.nz- limited spaces available. Free event - no need to register with Dive Zone unless you are diving.
